On Thursday, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj told Rajya Sabha that there will not be any issue to India till the process of Brexit gets over.
Ms. Swaraj continued that there will be more clarity on the United Kingdom’s relationship with the European Union after January 15. The British Parliament will start its discussion over Brexit deal from January 7.
Ms. Swaraj said that “It won’t be definite to say anything at this point of time. The whole process will take two years and till then there will not be any problem.”
Any uncertainty will be known after the process will get completed, added the External Affairs Minister.
Sushma Swaraj replied to a query from Congress leader Kumar Ketkar, who has asked about the plans of the Centre to protect lakhs of Indian migrants post over Brexit.
