On Thursday, a 67-year-old British Man, who was severely ill, was evacuated by the Indian Coast Guard off the coast of Goa.

While on his way onboard RMS MV Queen Mary 2, the man had suffered a cardiac arrest. Mary 2 is a transatlantic ocean line that departed from Kochi.

After being alerted, the Indian Coast Guard has sent an interceptor boat and the ICGS Amal ship to attend the arising medical emergency.

The British citizen was then evacuated off the Goa coast and was immediately admitted to Manipal Hospital for medical aid.
