For the peace of two countries, Imran Khan Sworn in last month, and said that he endorsed his sentiment that the only way forward for two nations “lies in constructive engagement”. He further said that Pakistan would respond with two steps if India took one. Talking about the key issue Mr. Khan wrote that “Building on the mutual desire for peace between our two countries, I wish to propose a meeting Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi and External Affairs Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi and External Affairs Minister at the sidelines of the upcoming UN General Assembly in New York.”
PM Imran Khan Wrote To PM Modi
This is the second proposal from Imran Khan of bilateral dialogue since he formed the government in Pakistan. The situation seems quite interesting as the further relation between two countries is quite unpredictable. The decision between the two countries is yet to come. However, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Mohammad Faisal said on twitter said that “ PM (Imran Khan) has responded to PM Modi, in a positive spirit, reciprocating his sentiments. Let is talk and resolve all issues. We await a formal response from India.”
Both country India and Pakistan always being in the headlines for their spat but this the call for peace will be the most attractive point is to see. As remembered India announced earlier following the strikes that it will not engage in talks with Pakistan, saying terror and talks cannot go hand-in-hand.
