On Thursday, India has condemned the terrorist attack in Iraq’s Erbil, in which a Turkish diplomat was murdered and called for interactive action against terrorism by the international community.

On Wednesday, a gunman opened fire inside a Turkish-owned restaurant in Erbil, took the lives of one Turkish diplomat stations in the consulate of Ankara.

In a reply to a media query on the terrorist attack, the Ministry of External Affairs Spokesman Raveesh Kumar has said that India criticized the terror attacks in Erbil, extended its condolences to the deceased families, including a diplomat from Turkey.

Mr. Kumar said, “India has always opposed and rejected terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and has urged concerted action by the international community against terrorism, including cross-border terrorism.”
