On Monday, a 5.7-magnitude quake has struck in southwest Iran, near the border with Iraq, reports the country’s national seismological centre. 

The epicentre of the Earthquake was in Masjed Soleiman area of Khuzestan Province, strikes at 11:30 AM at a depth of 17-kilometers.

There were no immediate reports of damage or any casualties, will rescue team still evaluating the situation, it added.
