With trends signifying BJP’s return to power, Home Minister Rajnath Singh termed this victory as “historic” and credited it to Narendra Modi’s “astute” leadership and Amit Shah’s “dynamism”.
In a series of Twitter post, Mr. Singh claims that the people of the country have once again offered a crucial mandate to NDA Government and reposed their faith in leadership of PM Modi and his ‘Vision of New India’.
Mr. Singh’s Twitter post reads: “Spoke to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi and the BJP National President Shri @AmitShah over the phone and congratulated them for @BJP4India led NDA’s stupendous victory in these Lok Sabha Elections.”
The senior BJP leader continued, “This historic victory in the General Elections is the outcome of Modi Ji’s visionary leadership, Amit Shah Ji’s dynamism and the hard work of millions of BJP karyakartas on the ground.”
Mr. Singh continued that the Prime Minister is all-set to build a ‘New India’.
Riding on a huge Modi wave sweeping through most parts of the country, BJP is set to return to power at Centre and most of the states as it is leading in 343 seats while Congress trailed far behind, reports Election Commission’s data.
Rajnath Singh has contested from Lucknow Constituency is also leading by around 1.5 lakh votes.
