PM Narendra Modi Extends Best Wishes to Countrymen on Maha Shivratri - TNBCLive

Today, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri President Ram Nath Kovind Vice-President M Venkaiah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President wishes the countrymen and prayed that Lord Shiva blesses everyone in the country with peace, prosperity and good fortune. PM Modi tweeted in Hindi that the blessings of Baba Bholenath may bring happiness, peace, prosperity, and good luck to all countrymen. 

“On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, I wish the devout community around the world. On this occasion, when we illuminate our homes, we pray to Lord Shiva to bless us with wisdom and courage to overcome the flaws within,” Venkaiah Naidu said.

President Ram Nath Kovind also greeted the people of the country on the holy occasion of Maha Shivratri. “Greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens on Mahashivaratri. May the blessings of Lord Shiva bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to everyone’s life.”

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also shared best wishes to the country on a special occasion. Mr. Gandhi posted a picture of Mount Kailash, which is recognized as the abode of Lord Shiva. He wrote, “Hearty greetings to all the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri.”

Maha Shivaratri is an important festival for the devotees of Lord Shiva. The day is marked remembrance of “overcoming darkness and ignorance”.The festival of convergence of Shiva and Shakti is celebrated all over India to worship Lord Shiva the “destroyer of evil”.
