Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 3rd official visit to the United Arab Emirates on August 23 is another keen milestone in the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership as the Indians are looking forward to it, said the Indian Envoy. 

During his visit, PM Modi would receive the ‘Order of Zayed’, which is the highest civil decoration of the UAE for “giving a big boost to bilateral relations between the two countries.”

The Indian Prime Minister would also meet the Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed-bin Zayed-Al Nahayan to discuss regional, bilateral, and international issues of mutual interest. 

On Monday, the Indian Ambassador to the UAE, Navdeeo Singh Suri has tweeted that the Indians are looking forward to their PM Modi’s visit. 

Mr. Suri said, “Another important milestone in our comprehensive strategic partnership. He will also receive the Sheikh Zayed Medal, UAE’s highest civilian award.”

Even though there is an expectation of no public engagement, PM Modi’s visit is considered by the Indian businessmen in Dubai as another boost to the rising bilateral relations. 

NMC Healthcare Founder and Chairman BR Shetty has said that the UAE and India are enjoying a fascinating bond of brotherhood, carefully cultivated over the decades. 

Mr. Shetty continued, “The UAE Government has recognised this strong bond and honoured Shri Narendra Modiji with the Zayed Medal. Under Modi ji’s mighty leadership and stable government, I am confident that India will achieve stellar growth and success.”

Lulu Group’s Chairman & Managing Director Yusuffali MA said that “this is truly an amazing and remarkable phase in the long and historic relationship between two great countries. The 3rd visit of Prime Minister Modi to the UAE emphatically underlines the importance and respect India has for the UAE.”

“Obviously the highlight of the visit is the presentation of Zayed Medal, the highest civilian honour of the UAE, and I see this as an honour for India, the entire Indians residing in Dubai in this most harmonious, peaceful, prosperous and tolerant countries in the world,” added Director Yusuffali. 

He further said that it is the golden time of the UAE-Indo Trade Relationship that is visible in many sectors, right from oil to infrastructure, trade development to aviation and tourism. 

Mr. Yusuffali continued, “Apart from the strategic and political goals, this visit will surely further boost the socio-cultural ties as well as the personal and warm camaraderie between the visionary leaders of India and the UAE.”

Lulu Group’s Chairman also said that as India is moving towards its ambitious goal of becoming a USD 5 trillion economy, “the UAE will play a key role in this effort, thanks to already existing trade ties, close proximity, large Indian diaspora and above all the personal and warm friendship between great leadership of both nations.”

ESC Middle East’s Regional Director Kamal Vachani has said that PM Modi’s visit will also boost the economic relations between the UAE and India. 

“Both the countries already enjoy a great relationship with a large Indian population living in the UAE. Indian businessmen in the UAE enjoy a great atmosphere living and doing business in the UAE,” added Mr. Yusuffali.
