PM Modi mourns at Loss of Lives in Raebareli’s train derailment

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled at the loss of lives in the derailment of New Farakka Express in Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli.

More than seven people died on spot and nine others were injured seriously as engine and eight coaches of the train derailed this morning near Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh, said Anand Kumar, Additional Director General (ADG) of Law and Order.

Prime Minister’s Office tweets quoting PM Modi reads, “anguished by the loss of lives due to a rail accident in Raebareli. Condolences to the bereaved families and I pray that the injured recover quickly.”

PM Modi said that government of Uttar Pradesh, Railway authority and National Disaster Response Force ensured for every possible assistant at the accident spot.
