Today the world is celebrating International Women’s Day. It is the day to appreciate women in our lives and also celebrate their achievements. From women in our family to colleagues at our workplace, all must be appreciated and loved. International Women’s Day is being observed since the early 1900s and it happens every year on a particular day, on March 8. You must inspire your mother, wife, sister, relative and friend by telling them how much they mean to you.
Filmmakers also make movies inspired by women power. Queen, English Vinglish, Chak De! India, Kahaani, Highway, Mardaani, Mary Kom, Neerja, NH 10, Dangal, Manikarnika are some of the names of recent Indian movies which did not need a hero to become a blockbuster hit.
So here are some inspirational quotes for the special day.

2. “I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint – and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.”
– Oprah Winfrey
3. “I know God will not give me anything I can’t handle. I just wish that He didn’t trust me so much.”

4. “Any woman who understands the problems of running a home will be nearer to understanding the problems of running a country.”

6. “Don’t let anyone tell you you’re weak because you’re a woman.”
– Mary Kom, Indian Olympic boxer
7. Do something because you really want to do it. If you’re doing it just for the goal and don’t enjoy the path, then I think you’re cheating yourself.”
– Kalpana Chawla
