Bengaluru-based Medicine Doctor Hema Divakar was recently awarded with “Global Asian of the Year 2018-19” in Dubai for her lifeless service and contribution in the women’s healthcare ecosystem, in India, reports the organizer of “Asia One” Magazine’s publisher.

Doctor Hema was honored at 2019 Asian Business & Social Forum under the category of “In Service of the Society and the Nation” from the UAE’s Trade Promotion Director Mohammed Naser Hamdan Al Zaabi.

In a statement, the Pan-Asian business and news publication said that “the award is conferred on those who stand out for vision, action and ingenuity and represent contemporary ideas to make global impact.”

She is also spearheading a healthcare centre for overall well-being of women. With quality and affordable treatment.

Doctor Hema was quoted saying on the occasion, “To be recognised with other achievers of Asia thrusts on me a greater responsibility and ownership to reform the women’s healthcare ecosystem in an innovative and impactful manner.”
