14 injured and 6 dead at Bhilai Steel Plant in Gas Pipeline blast

Fourteen severally injured and six people died due to gas pipeline blast at Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh. The steel plant is located almost 30 km away from the state Capital Raipur.

Injured people were immediately taken to nearby hospital for medical aid.

In the town of Bhilai, the blast has taken place in a gas pipeline at the steel plant.

The rescue team and Police immediately get informed about the incident, rushed at the spot after the blast to rescue the trapped people inside the steel plant.

Bhilai Steel Plant is operated by Chhattisgarh Steel Authority of India Limited.

Earlier on June 12, 2014, six workers at the steel plant in Bhilai has died due to an explosion in the blast furnace.
