Microsoft Extends Azure Cloud Service to Meet $10 Billion Pentagon Project

As the consequences of competence with Amazon.com for a $10 billion Pentagon contact, Microsoft Crop declared to extend their Azure Cloud Service for helping government clients to store data on their own servers and will be available at the end of the centre of 2019.

After disappearing Alphabet’s Google from the contention ground of the lucrative contract explaining the latest ethical guidelines of the company do not fit with the attributes of the project, two companies are left for the fray.

The JEDI, or Joint Enterprise Defence Infrastructure of Pentagon tenders a reliable cloud computing solution contract which is a part of the endeavour of Defence Department for upgrading its IT infrastructure.

The corporate Vice President of Microsoft Azure Julia White said, “ the expanded Azure Government Secret cloud service will make Microsoft a strong option for the JEDI contract”, including that the company is highly efficient for meeting the requirement of dominant classification for holding the “ top secret US classified data”.
