Italian Football club Juventus commented that the allegation of rape against Cristiano Ronaldo will not change their standpoint about their superstar player, though the US-based sportswear giant Nike told that this was a matter of “deep concern”.
The team commented on their twitter account interrupting the silence against the claim of an American model, “ The Portuguese striker has shown in recent months his great professionalism and dedication, which is appreciated by everyone at Juventus.”
“The events allegedly dating back to almost 10 years ago does not change this opinion, which is shared by anyone who has come into contact with this great champion.”
A video is posted on Twitter and YouTube later by Juventus disclosing Ronaldo worked up a sweat as he provides training to his team members at the centre of Continassa in Turin for the league against the Udinese.

The defensive Serie A champions tweets were extensively triggered on the social media as “shockingly dismissive and insensitive”.
One typical tweet said, “ You would expect a more nuanced and sensitive approach from such a mega-organization”.The Nike representative told AFP, “ We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and will continue to closely monitor the situation.”
Cristiano Ronaldo said in his Twitter feed which has around 75 million followers, “ Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in”.
“Keen as I may be to clear my name I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense.”
