The skipper of the Kings XI Punjab, Ravichandran Ashwin ‘Mankaded’ Jos Buttler which came out as a massive blow on Rajasthan Royals. The match held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on Monday night.

When Jos Buttler came into the field for batting he had given an excellent and unstoppable performance and scored his seventh half-century in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It was spinner Ravichandran Ashwin who was able to make him out but it was one of the most controversial dismissals even seen in the history of the IPL.
After dislodging the bails at the non-striker’s end, Ashwin appealed for a runout. The Punjab captain had a little conversation with Butler who was clearly out of the crease. Meanwhile, the third umpire gave the decision in the favor of Ashwin and declared Buttler out. Buttler departed for 69 off 43 balls.
“You are not in the crease and you’ve been upsetting my rhythm,” an animated Ashwin said in the heat of the moment.
Buttler, was furious while walking back to the dressing room as he did not get any warning before.
Referring to the matter many have praised Aswin for his smart dismissal on Twitter while many have called it as “cheating”.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan joined in saying: “If @josbuttler had been warned well that’s fine … if he hasn’t and it’s the first time I think @ashwinravi99 is completely out of order … watch how often this happens from now on !!!!!!!”
Earlier, Chris Gayle scored a half-century to guide Kings XI Punjab to a challenging 184 for four in their allotted 20 overs. He scored 79 off 47 balls and hit eight boundaries and four sixes in the process.
