KL Rahul was banned from cricket for his controversial comment on a TV show but he has made a satisfactory comeback in the team.

Rahul had performed extremely well in the unofficial one-day match and he has been selected in India A group for the first of the two four-day games against England Lions which will be started from February 7, in Wayanad, Kerala. According to the statement of BCCI, in the group of the 14-man Ankit Bawne was the captain.  Shardul Thakur failed to complete his first over in Test cricket against the West Indies after he had a right adductor tendon injury.

Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul both received a suspension for their allegedly sexist comments on a television show. Rahul is supposed to open the innings for the India A team along with Abhimanyu Easwaran.

In the team, there are also  Shahbaz Nadeem, Priyank Panchal, K.S. Bharat, Siddhesh Lad, and Ricky Bhui.

The four-day games will follow the five-match unofficial one-day match in which India A side has taken a 4-0 lead in the four matches played so far. The fifth and final one-day match will be played in Thiruvananthapuram.
