Indian badminton sports pair of Sumeeth Reddy and Manu Attri wins in three games and advanced to the next round of 2018 Japan Open today. Reddy and Attri defeated Malaysia’s Tan Wee Kiong and Goh V Shem by 21-19, 23-21 and 15-21 in the match that lasted almost 54 minutes.
On the other hand, Indian men’s doubles pair of Chirag Shetty-Satwiksairaj Ranikireddy as well as women’s doubles pair of N Sikki Reddy-Ashwini Ponappa crashed out from the match in the first round, took place in Tokyo.
In the other men’s doubles match, the unclassified pair of Chirag Shetty and Ranikireddy suffered a straight loss of 12-21, 17-21 against the third-seeded Japanese pair, Keigo Sonodi and Takeshi Kamura, the match lasted for 38 minutes.
In women’s doubles match, the pair of N Sikki Reddy and Ashwini Ponappa was outshined by South Korea’s Jung Kyung Eun and Chang Ye Na 13-21 and 17-21, the match lasted for 34 minutes.
