Asansol’s BJP leader Babul Supriyo told the source that “the Chief Minister herself is provoking violence in the state and employing party workers and police for it. This government has no moral right to be in power.”

Mr. Roy’s letter comes in the wake of a written letter that TMC had written to Mr. Shah on June 9 over the arising violence in the state.
