BJP will soon be ousted from power at centre, claims Mamata Banerjee - TNBCLive

On Monday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that BJP will be ousted from power at the Centre like the CPI (M) was eliminated from the state.

BJP Government has only changed the names of historical places in the nation, claims CM Banerjee.

While speaking at a rally in Paschim Midnapore district, CM Banerjee said that “We are not afraid of the red eyes of Delhi. The BJP will be out of power at the Centre soon. We (TMC) drove away from the CPI (M) from Bengal, the BJP will be ousted from power at the Centre by people in the near future. This is our pledge, our commitment.”

On January 2019, she has also called for a mega rally with opposition parties in Kolkata as a part of the efforts to restrict BJP from coming back to power in forthcoming 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

Criticizing the saffron party’s Hindutva agenda, CM Banerjee said that “I have great respect for the seers of the Ramakrishna Mission. But I do not respect those in the BJP, who only do drama in the name of Hindutva.”

She further alleged that BJP of converting institutions like CBI and RBI (Reserve Bank of India) into its party office. “This has never happened before,” added CM Banerjee.

She also claims that CPI (M) workers used to torment the people of West Bengal during the previous Left Front rules, has now shifted to BJP and tried to mislead people in the state.

“They are lying, spreading canards and conspiring against you (people),” added CM Banerjee.
