President Kovind demands for Gorakhpur to be developed as “City of Knowledge” - TNBCLive

On Monday, President Ram Nath Kovind has called for Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur to be developed as a “City of Knowledge” over the next 15-years. He said that UP has the largest human resources across the country and Gorakhpur is under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s political home regime.

President Kovind has also addressed that founders’ week celebration at Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad. He continued that Gorakhpur needs to be developed as a knowledge city by the end of 2032, the same year will complete 100-years of the Parishad, which worked in the field of capacity and education building.

He further claims that UP has the largest number of young boy and girls across the country and new policies introduced by CM Adityanath led-BJP government should help them to develop as “job creators”.

President Kovind has also praised the contribution of saints from the Nath sect in the educational field and contribution towards the society and during the freedom struggle of the country.

President Kovind reports of visiting the Gorakhnath temple number of times when Avaidyanath, the mentor of CM Adityanath, was the head.
