The rescue operation is going on to save the life of a 7-year-old girl, who is stuck in a 60-feet-deep borewell in Farrukhabad district of Uttar Pradesh for the last 2-days, reports an official.

On Wednesday, Seema has fallen into the borewell while she was playing near her residence at Rasidapur village in Kamalganj area. The local administration is taking care of the action and rescue operation underway, added the official.

District Magistrate Monika Rani said that the Army and National Disaster Response Force are working hard to save the girl, but as it was loose soil, they were finding it hard to reach her.

The official claims that the loose soil and sand didn’t allow the rescue team to dig a parallel borewell near the first one. However, they are taking all necessary precautions to save her life.

More details are awaited.
