A Congress student body leader is caught on camera found threatening a student after she has lodged a complaint of molestation in a college in Uttar Pradesh.
In a video that is circulated worldwide, NSUI (National Students Union of India) district President Irfan Hussain is found backing those, who allegedly molested the teen and told hold to “better behave”. Mr. Hussain can be heard saying in the clip, “You are just in the first year now, you have to stay here for three more years, sudhar jao (better behave). I will make it very difficult for you to enter the college.”
After serious argument between the two, the Congress student leader said: “Ladki agar daayre mein hai to hi acchi lagti hai.”
However, during the total argument, the staffs of the college did not intervene.
As soon as the video went viral, Mr. Hussain was suspended from the post and Congress student body directed him not to participate in any activities in the organization.
Uttar Pradesh Police are looking after Irfan Hussain, who is missing since a case was registered against him.
A Police officer D Tripathi told sources that “an FIR has been registered against the accused. We will arrest him soon.”
