On Monday, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav enquired when all Yadavs can be called relatives, then why can’t all Modis be called as relatives, referred to the same surname shared by liquid baron Nirav Modi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While addressing a public meeting in favor of grand alliance or mahagathbandhan candidate Suresh Bansal in Ghaziabad’s Ramlila Ground Kavi Nagar, the Samajwadi Party Chief said, “If a police officer can stop me at the Lucknow airport while I was going to a students’ union function, then how could liquor trader (Vijay Mallya) and Mehul Choksi (fugitive diamantaire) leave the country?”
BJP government hasn’t fulfilled promises made before 2014 General Elections and didn’t disclose data of employment, business hit by GST, farmer suicides, and demonetization, said Mr. Yadav.
The SP Chief further accused Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of only painting offices and road dividers but no work of development in the state was taken up yet.
Mr. Yadav claims that “the six-lane elevated road which was constructed on a single pillar is the best in the country, the metro line from Dilshad Garden to Purana Bus Adda, Ghaziabad were constructed by our government to facilitate lakhs of commuters.”
The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh further asked to do people of the state remembers the work done by Samajwadi Party Government including metro services and hassle-free ride on an elevated road.
