A 16-years-old girl was repeatedly raped and blackmailed for more than four years by her cousin and his friends in Hyderabad, reports police. After accused of raping her, the convict cousin has recorded the sexual assault on his cellphone and also shared the video with others. All of them then continuously threatened her to maintain a sexual relationship with them, the victim girl informed the police.

The victim’s brother informed that no one in the family had noticed anything absurd during the period of 4 years.

The incident came to light when the victim has approached a Bharosa centre in December, in the state to seek help.

Three of the convict named by the victim teen has been detained, said an officer.

The victim reported the police that one of her cousins had reportedly raped her on the top floor of their house and intentionally recorded to act to blackmail her. He also had allegedly spiked her drink with some drug. Later, the convict has used the video to repeat the assault with her.

However, it was just the beginning of her trauma as her cousin has shared the video with his friends, who also allegedly raped her for four years. Police force has managed to name one of the accused as a witness, said the victim’s family.

The victim’s another cousin said that “how can they turn an accused into a witness. A friend of another accused has also been made a witness. What if they change the story in court? We want all the guilty to be punished immediately.”

The victim’s family members and neighbors have protested in Kamatipura after the teen accused that besides the three detained men, she was sexually assaulted by eight others including a witness.

The victim’s brother continued that “My sister is traumatized, but wants to continue her studies.”

Further investigation continues.
