PM Modi To Address United Nations General Assembly Session And Meet President Donald Trump - TNBCLive

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the United States of America from September 21 to September 27, during which he has scheduled to meet the United States President Donald Trump and address the Annual United Nations General Assembly Session, informed Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale on Thursday.

On Saturday, PM Modi is scheduled to arrive in Houston.

President Donald Trump would join him the next day in addressing the “Howdy, Modi” Event, to be participated by the members of the Indian-American Community.

Mr. Gokhale continued, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a visit to the US from the late afternoon of 21 September until the forenoon of 27 September. And the two cities on his itinerary are Houston in Texas and then New York.”

PM Modi will also address the United Nations General Assembly Session on the early morning of September 27, said the Foreign Secretary.

As the world celebrated Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birthday on October 2, PM Modi will also host a “special” event on September 24, “Leadership Matters: Relevance of Gandhi in the Contemporary World”.

He will also joined leaders of several nations at this event.
