On Wednesday, the hill resorts of Nainital and Mussoorie in Uttarakhand has received another spell of fresh snowfall.

The famous Mall Roads in Nainital and Mussoorie has started receiving snow since last night, were found covered with a white sheet of snowfall in the morning, said a MeT official.

The irregular snowfall continues in high altitude areas around Uttarakhand’s Mussoorie.

Most of the tourists visited places such as Gunhill and Lal Tibba in Mussoorie were covered in white snow. The surrounding hills of Nainital Lake were covered with snow.

Earlier in the day, Dhanaulti-Mussoorie Road was also closed after heavy snowfall blocked it totally, said the authorities.

The higher altitudes of Kumaon and Garhwal hills has also experienced heavy snowfall, Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Auli in Munsiyari, and Garhwal in Kumaon region continue to receive heavy snowfall.

The intermittent rains in Dehradun were also continuing since last night.
