NCP’s Partyman Shared Cartoon At Sena-BJP Power Tussle - TNBCLive

On Tuesday, NCP spokesman Clyde Crasto has shared a cartoon in which he drew the symbol of Shiv Sena bow and arrow, appears to hang overhead and directly pointing at BJP’s lotus, its party symbol.

The cartoon appears to be a mock on the reported tug of war between the central-ruling BJP and Shiv Sena over the formation of government in Maharashtra.

Mr. Crasto has shared the cartoon in a tweet and wrote in Marathi, “There is a proverb…Hanging over your head.”

BJP and Sena have been struggling hard to reach a final settlement regards to the formation of government in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that the BJP National Chief and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have not provided any confirmation yet about offering the post of Chief Minister to Shiv Sena.

However, he affirms that the ruling party will lead a stable government with Sena for the next five years.

On Tuesday, CM Fadnavis told sources in Mumbai that “BJP will be leading a stable and efficient government of Mahayuti (alliance) for 5 years. I assure that this will be a BJP-led government. Our party president has confirmed that nothing has been decided on giving CM post to Shiv Sena. No formula has been decided yet.”
