In Maharashtra, a six-year-old boy was trapped in a 200-feet deep borewell at a village got rescued this morning after a 16-hours operation, reports source.

The victim’s father was a construction laborer, got trapped at a depth of 10-feet in borewell after falling into it while he was playing yesterday at 5 pm. The state police and National Disaster Response Force team has worked hard through the night to get hold of the boy and bring him out.

The boy with his family live at a makeshift camp near the borewell, in which he got trapped, there road construction work is also going on.

After 16-hours of operation, the crying boy was finally rescued, visibly found shaken as he was taken out of a crater, which the rescue team has dug where the borewell was.

Officials report that doctors will examine the health of the boy.
