Today, South Indian multi-lingual actor Prakash Raj filed nomination to contest from Bangalore Central Constituency, in the Lok Sabha Elections as an Independent Candidate.

53-year-old Prakash Raj hails from this tech city is a well-known actor in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil Films.

After filing his nomination, Mr. Raj told the source that “National parties like BJP and Congress have failed the people. I would like to be the voice of the people.”

Mr. Raj will be contesting from the seat against BJP MP’s PC Mohan, who has also filed nomination from Bangalore Central seat.

However, Congress is yet to declare its candidate from the constituency.

AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) has also shown support for Prakash Raj.
