A staff of the Pakistan High Commission was taken to a city Police Station for reportedly ‘inappropriately touching’ a woman, reports the Police on Monday.

On Sunday, the victim woman and the staff were brought to Sarojini Nagar Police Station, added the Police officer.

According to the victim’s complaint, the man has touched her inappropriately in the market area. However, the staffer has rejected the claim.

The convict said that his hand merely brushed past the woman due to the excessive crowd in the market area, continued the policeman.

A senior police officer informed that the matter was resolved quickly after he apologized to the woman for his unintentional mistake.

The police force further denied the media reports that the staffer was detained.
