Rajasthan is home to a number of arts and culture business, which are practiced by every successive generation. One such shop is that of Bibaji Bangles, a popular bangle maker in Rajasthan, known for its ‘crystal bangles’, which is 150-years-old.

Bibaji Bangles enjoys a long list of guests, who comes from various parts of the world to enjoy bangles of this unique shop. The list includes the Ambanis, Jodhpur’s Royal families, and the film starts like Juhi Chawla, Kabir Bedi, to name a few.

The current custodian of the shop is Abdul Satar. While speaking to the news source, he said that “My great-grandmother, who was known as ‘Bibiji’, used to visit kings and queens and that is how the business started.”

He continued, “When Bibiji grew old and could no longer carry on the business, my father took over and sold bangles on his cycle. I, too, began by selling bangles on a cycle, after which I set up this shop.”

Mr. Satar is popular in the state as Bibaji has started his journey in the 1970s. The crystal bangles are the most popular and claims were his innovation 20-years ago.

Mr. Satar is specialized in making all types of bangles, studded enamel, and much sought-after cut-glass pastels as well as jeweled ones.

Bibaji Bangles Store is located in a busy area of the city but the owner of the shop is always ready to send his vendor to one’s hotel doorsteps with multiple sizes and choices.

While talking about the future of industries and its struggle, Mr. Satar said that constant innovation is the need of the hour that has become a task in this fast-paced industry.
