Temperature decreases in Himachal Pradesh with snowfall chances - TNBCLive

On Monday, Himachal Pradesh has seen a drop down in temperature and the Met Office has forecasted snowfall and rain in the state.

The Met Office in a statement reads, “There are chances of rain and snowfall in the state in the next 24 hours.”

It continued that a Western disturbance, a storm system originating from the Caspian Sea and moving towards the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, will be active from today in the region.

Most of the popular tourist towns like Kufrin, Narkanda, and Manali is likely to witness rain and snowfall, added the statement.

Manali is located 250 km away from Shimla, has experienced snowfall in this season.

Lahaul-Spiti district of Keylong was the coldest region in Himachal Pradesh with a low of minus 4.7 degree Celsius.

Meanwhile, Shimla records that minimum temperature at 3.9 degree Celsius and minus 2 in Kalpa in Kinnaur district, 6.8 in Dharamsala, 0.6 in Manali and 2.7 in Dalhousie.
