Special train was introduced to bring back people from Kerala to Bengal

A train with hundreds of people suffered in Kerala-flood reached Kolkata the last night, reports Spokesman of SER (South Eastern Railway).

The train was loaded with passengers, belongs to labor class from Bangla, which reached last night at the Howrah Station in the special 21-coach train from Thiruvananthapuram.

On Sunday evening, two more special trains left from Ernakulam are scheduled to reach Bangla today, said the Spokesperson Sanjay Ghosh.

Mostly laborer of Bangla belongs to distinct skills, some worked as hotel staffs, hospital, and other professions as well. These groups of people have abounded in various parts of Kerala, which was severally affected by uncontrollable Kerala flood.

The rescue team ferried the passengers in buses to their destinations, arranged by the Bangla government. Family members of the passengers have a sign of relief with the safely reach of their close ones to their destinations.

Railway medical support including 2 doctors was accompanying the passengers on their journey towards their hometown. The medical team reports that nobody required any medical assistance during the journey.
