On Tuesday, counting of votes in Assembly Elections underways, the Shiv Sena said that the outcome is a clear message to BJP and there is a need for the ruling coalition to introspect.
A spokesman of Shiv Sena and the party’s Rajya Sabha lawmaker Sanjay Raut said that the update is reflecting BJP’s victory chariot, which has been halted.
Mr. Raut told source in the Parliament that “This is a clear message and it is the time for us to introspect.”
Despite forming an alliance in Centre and Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena has shared an uneasy relationship with the center-ruling BJP. Both the parties contested in the 2014 Maharashtra Elections separately but later to form a government in the state has joined hands.
Following the latest trends, BJP trails in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan to the Congress, where there is a very close margin difference between BJP and Congress in Madhya Pradesh.
TRS is heading to form a government in Telangana and this is for the second time the party looks forward to winning. In Mizoram, MNF (Mizo National Front) has left behind the ruling Congress far behind in its tally of seats.
