Rs.25 Crore to Food-hit Kerala, offered by the Telengana Government

The government of Telangana on Friday announced a financial support for the flood-hit Kerala with Rs.25 Crore.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Chief Secretary S.K Joshi ensure that the amount of Rs.25 Crore will immediately reach to Kerala government to back-up the people of Kerala suffering from uncontrollable floods.

In Kerala, drinking water has also been polluted due to the flood water spreading all over the regions. He even initiated his officers to dispatch R.O machines, immediately to Kerala, which worth Rs. 2.50 Crore.

Mr. Rao appealed to businessman, industrialists and another financial stable group to come forward and stand beside Kerala for help.

As per as the CM’s office statement, “If donations are given to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, an arrangement will be made to send them to Kerala.”
