Rahul Gandhi takes a break at Shimla with Maggi, Chess and visited a special school - TNBCLive

On Thursday, the Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi is on a winter holiday in Shimla, took a stop at a school for children with special abilities and played games of Chess with them, reports source.

In a picture, Mr. Gandhi is seen playing with a teen as his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has captured the moment on her Smartphone and shared on social media site.

He went to the popular hill resort for some R&R after his party’s 3-state victory in the recently concluded Assembly Elections. Priyanka Vadra and her children also went with him for the winter session.

Mr. Gandhi also saw his sister’s house, which is being constructed near the picturesque town.

The group also took a road trip to Shimla and stopped on the way for Maggi noodles and tea break, photographs tweeted by a Congress worker revealed.

Local Congress leaders also met with their party Chief at the dhaba where he had stopped for a break. Mr. Gandhi reportedly told them that he was on a personal visit to Himachal Pradesh.

Mr. Gandhi and his sister with her children are staying at a hotel in Chharaba, where Priyanka Vadra’s house is being constructed, said a Congress leader.

Last week, Congress has taken over three heartland states- Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from the BJP, notches up important wins ahead of the forthcoming 2019 National Elections.
