On Wednesday, Congress President Rahul Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has showcased his need to offer his superiority by questioning Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and asserted that Kartarpur corridor went to Pakistan’s part as lack of wisdom of that time leaders.    

Mr. Gandhi’s attack on PM Modi came a day later the Prime Minister has accused that Kartarpur went to Pakistan at the time of independence as Congress leaders of that time had no vision and did not respect sentiments of Sikhs community.

With a Facebook post in Hindi, the Congress Chief said that PM Modi was now raising question against Sardar Patel and intimate Kartarpur went to Pakistan because of lack of wisdom and visions of the leaders of that time.

Mr. Gandhi continued, “What is in Prime Minister Modi’s mind has finally been articulated… to prove himself superior to others, he can demean Gandhi, Patel, and other leaders.”

Corrected Congress’ mistakes was his “destiny”, the Prime Minister of India said that an election meeting in Rajasthan on Tuesday while citing to the recent opening of the Kartarpur Sahib corridor across the India-Pakistan border. The foundation stone for the long-waited corridor linking Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan’s Kartarpur, which is the final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev –  to Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Gurdaspur district of India was laid last week.
