On Tuesday, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had an overnight meeting with Congress workers on the campaign for the upcoming election due by May and today morning she appears after 5.30 am.

The Congress party’s new general secretary Priyanka told the reporters “I am getting their views on how to fight these elections to win,” after a 16-hour meeting.

Total eight Lok Sabha constituency workers and president of all districts met with Priyanka Gandhi in Amethi and Raebareli. Priyanka Gandhi arrived at Lucknow on Tuesday afternoon from Jaipur, where the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning her husband Robert Vadra and his mother Maureen Vadra.

“I’m learning a lot about the organization, how it is structured and the changes that need to be made,” she told reporters.

Congress president and her brother Rahul had announced her political debut. On being asked by the reporters that how has been the first experience she replied to the media persons, “It feels very good…They waited so long.  I am learning a lot.”

As per reports, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur and Mohanlalganj are the highlighted constituencies discussed in the meeting. Party sources stated Priyanka held meetings with 10 to 20 people each from the eight constituencies while Jyotiraditya Scindia held meetings with leaders from the constituencies in his charge.

Uttar Pradesh comprises the most number of parliamentary seats which is 80 in number which indicates that any party who performs well in this state, may come to the power at the center.

Rahul Gandhi has covered the eastern Uttar Pradesh placing 41 of 80 seats. Jyotiraditya Scindia will be in charge of 39, said a party member. Varanasi, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gorakhpur led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, these two places duty has been given to Priyanka.
