On Wednesday, Congress has launched a fresh attack on the Prime Minister over the Rafale fighter jets deal, accused him of misusing his office to “benefit” Dassault Aviation, and a case under the prevention of law corruption be made out against him.
A chief spokesman of Congress, Randeep Surjewala told sources that Indian Negotiating Team (INT) to finalize the purchasing of fighter aircraft was sidelined and the negotiation was finalized by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval at the behest of PM’s Office.
The government has lied that Congress’ charges of corruption in the deal with the centre-ruling BJP have slammed the part for wide spreading of blatant lies.
Mr. Surjewala further claims that the government has purchased the fighter aircraft at a much more price than what was deal by the previous UPA government and that too without any bank guarantee.
The government has claimed of purchasing 36 Rafale fighter jets at Rs. 59000 crore is wrong information as the Indian negotiating team has put the figure ay Rs. 64000 crore, claims the Congress’ chief spokesman, allege NDA government of misleading the Parliament.
