Over Chief Minister query, Jyotiraditya Scindia says, “Party will decide” - TNBCLive

In the middle of a battle over the Chief Ministerial post in election-bound Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia made it clear that he was all set for the post if his party decides to offer it to him. Mr. Scindia told the source that “ It would be an honor to serve as Chief Minister,” shortly after Congress staked its claims to form the next government in the state.

Congress has narrowly won Madhya Pradesh with 114-seats in the Assembly Elections, emerges as the largest party but fails two short of a majority, a shortfall that it has made up after BSP supremo Mayawati pledged her support to Congress “to keep the BJP out.”

Now, Congress faces a tough choice between Jyotiraditya Scindia and Kamal Nath for the post of Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh.
