On Sunday, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that Nationalism is in the soul of BJP and development of the country is the party’s religion.

While addressing a meeting of BJP booth-level workers from Lok Sabha Constituency of Kangra, Mr. Gadkari claims that “For each BJP worker, unity and integrity of India is the sole objective. It is only due to the commitment of the BJP workers that it has become the largest political organization of the world.”

Nationalism is in the soul of the BJP and development of the nation is our religion,” added Mr. Gadkari.

Over dynastic politics, the Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari further took a dig at opposition parties.

He continued, “BJP is not a party of a mother and a son or of a father and a son. BJP is a democratic party where anyone can occupy the top post as the party belongs to a common man.”

Mr. Gadkari said that the central-led BJP government has also ensured that India would emerge as a world power at the earliest.

Before BJP came into power in 2014 at Centre, Himachal Pradesh has 1706 km National Highways but now the state has around 7000 km National Highways, added the Union Minister.  

Mr. Gadkari also urges his party workers to work united for making BJP victorious in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, scheduled on May.

Earlier in the day, the Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways has laid the foundation stones of eight National Highway Projects in Himachal Pradesh, amounted Rs. 4459.24 crore. The event was also participated by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
