The Central Bureau of Investigation has dismissed Indrani Mukerjea’s plea to conduct a lie detector test in having links with her daughter Sheena Bora’s murder case.
On Monday, CBI informed the court that it did not require her to undergo the lie detector test as they had collected sufficient evidence. It further said that the tests were not admissible according to the collected evidence.
Ms. Mukerjea had registered an application in the connection two weeks ago to which CBI has filed a reply now. CBI has also informed the court that Ms. Mukerjea’s consent was sought at the initial stages for the lie detector test to investigate but she refused at that time.
Indrani Mukerjea is lodged in Byculla jail in Mumbai since she was detained in 2015 for her accused involvement in her daughter, Sheena Bora’s murder case.
