According to an additional travel and advisory, the Indian government has banned today the entry of the passengers from Malaysia, Afghanistan, and Philippines to India with immediate effect.

In continuation of the travel advisory on March 11 and March 16, the following additional advisory has been issued. “Travel of passengers from Afghanistan, Philippines and Malaysia to India is prohibited with immediate effect,” it said..

As per the advisory, no flight shall take off from these countries to India after 1500 hours Indian Standard Time (IST). The airline shall enforce this at the part of initial departure, it added.

The fresh instruction will be continued till the end of March and is temporary. The authority will closely observe the situation in between the time period. On Monday, the government banned the entry of passengers from EU countries, UK, and Turkey till March 31.
