On Tuesday, ED (Enforcement Directorate) did not seek for any further custody of Rajiv Saxena, detained in Rs. 3600-crore AgustaWestland money laundering scam, from a Delhi High Court.

Rajiv Saxena’s Enforcement Directorate custody ends today, sought to talk in private to Special Judge Arvind Kumar, without his lawyers presence, after which the High Court directed on-camera proceedings in the case.

On Friday, Mr. Sexana’s custody had been sought by the agency from the court, claims that the investigation is at a crucial stage.

He is one of the alleged named in the chargesheet, which was filed by the ED in the case.

The ED in its chargesheet has also named former AgustaWestland Christian Michel, Finmeccanica directors Bruno Spagnolini and Giuseppe Orsi, Saxena’s wife Shivani, former Air Force Chief SP Tyagi as well.
