Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has declared his immovable and movable assets amounted Rs. 25.12 crore in an affidavit filed along with the nomination papers for Nagpur Parliamentary Constituency.
On Monday, Mr. Gadkari has filed his nomination from Nagpur Lok Sabha seat. Election in the constituency is scheduled on April 11.
According to Mr. Gadkari’s tax return form, his annual income stood at Rs. 2,66,390 in the fiscal year 2013-14 and Rs. 6,40,700 in 2017-18. As per his affidavit, the Union Minister has movable assets of Rs. 6938691 and his wife of Rs. 9199160. An amount of Rs, 6607924 is in the name of HUF (Hindu Undivided Family).
Similarly, he has immovable assets of Rs. 69598325, his wife of Rs. 6,48,60,325, and a sum of Rs. 94031224 in the name of HUF.
He has announced more than 29 acres of agricultural land in Nagpur’s Dhapewada, of which 15 acres are registered in the name of his wife and 14.60 acres is owned by HUF.
Mr. Gadkari has declared an ancestral house at Nagpur’s Mahal and a flat at an MLA Society in Mumbai’s Worli.
In his affidavit, Nitin Gadkari has informed about his investment of Rs. 355510 in a savings scheme, bonds, mutual funds, and shares. In his bank account, the Union Minister has a balance of Rs. 899111, reports affidavit. His wife’s bank account balance stood at Rs. 1107909.
Mr. Gadkari has some liabilities of Rs. 15721753 as bank loans. He has also declared six cars in his affidavits and four of which is owned by his wife.
