Today morning, one died and 15 others were injured in a pile-up of several vehicles because of bad weather and dense fog on NH-28 in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur.
The injured people were immediately lifted to a nearby hospital for medical aid.
Since two weeks, dense fog has almost engulfed north India.
On Thursday, several passengers were wounded after 25 vehicles rammed each other due to dense fog on the outer Delhi’s Kanjhawala-Bawana Road.
Earlier on Tuesday, one died and nine severely injured in a pile-up of more than half-a-dozen of vehicles in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh.
On December 24, eight people have lost their lives and several badly injured in a massive pile-up of 50 vehicles, include private school buses due to dense fog on the Rohtak-Rewari Highway between Delhi and Haryana. In the accident, seven of the eight dead were women.
