Hours after 10 Goa Congress Lawmakers resigns from the party and joined the centre-ruling BJP, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has headed for New Delhi, to introduce the newly-inducted Lawmakers to BJP Chief and Home Minister Amit Shah. 

Ahead of heading for New Delhi, CM Sawant told sources at Dabolim International Airport in Goa that “the new MLAs will be meeting Amit Shah in Delhi at 10 a.m.

When enquired about whether the Cabinet is likely to be re-shuffled in view of the development, CM Sawant claims that the decision is to be taken by the party’s High Command on Thursday.

Earlier, the BJP engineered a break in 15-members Congress legislative party, with 10 lawmakers resigns from Congress to join the ruling party.
