State-run aerospace giant HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) has made a profit of Rs. 7334 crore in the last 4 years, as per the details offered by the government in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

HAL has generated net revenue of Rs. 58651 crore between the fiscal year 2015-16 and September 2018, as per the details provided.

The year-wise data, profit and net revenue incurred by HAL were presented to Lok Sabha by Defence Minister of State Subhash Bhamre, while responding to a question.

Mr. Bhamre reports that the HAL made a profit of Rs. 1998 crore approximately in 2015-16, while the amount of profit in 2016-17 was Rs. 2616 crore and in 2017-18 was Rs. 2070 as well.

In the current fiscal year, the aerospace major has made a profit of Rs. 650 crore till September.

As per the data provided by Mr. Bhamre, the net revenue incurred by HAL from the operations in 2015-16 was Rs. 16758 crore while it rises to Rs. 17950 crore in 2016-17 and expectedly Rs. 18519 crore in 2017-18.

In the current fiscal year (up to September), HAL has generated Rs. 5424 crore as net revenue incurred from its operations.
