The cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir is the richest person among all the candidates of the Lok Sabha election in Delhi. Gautam Gambhir has an annual income of over Rs. 12 crores.

Gautam Gambhir has presented a report which shows that he earns over Rs. 12.4 crores as per the IT returns filed for 2017-18. He has been nominated by the BJP in East Delhi against Aam Aadmi Party’s Atishi Marlena.

BJP’s singer-turned-politician Hans Raj Hans, who is contesting from the North West in Delhi, has an annual income of Rs.9.28 lakh as per the tax filed in 2017-18 while his counterpart Rajesh Lilothia from Congress has an annual income of Rs. 26.34 lakh.

Vijender Singh, the candidate of Congress from South Delhi has announced annual income of Rs. 45 lakh in 2017-18. He also possesses movable assets of Rs. 3.57 crore and immovable assets of Rs. 5.05 crore.

Vijender Singh’s main opponent Ramesh Bidhuri, the sitting MP and candidate of BJP from South Delhi has movable and immovable assets worth Rs. 18 crore, as per the affidavit. Mr. Bidhuri, his wife and dependent Himanshu have shown an income of over Rs. 16.72 lakh, Rs.3.09 lakh, and Rs. 3.18 lakh respectively in the IT returns filed in 2017-18.

Sheila Dikshit, the former Chief Minister, and Congress candidate declared that her personal assets worth over Rs. 4.92 crores. She is contesting from the North-East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency.

In the filed affidavit, the 81-year-old Congress leader has shown an apartment she owns in Nizamuddin area, worth around Rs. 1.88 crores. Ajay Maken, the Congress leader as well as the New Delhi candidate, had an annual income of over Rs. 26.38 lakh.
