Committee recommends Parliament’s Winter Session from December 11

On Wednesday, the CCPA (Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs) has suggested convening of the winter session of Parliament from December 11 to January 8, reports an official source of Parliament.

The CCPA headed by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has met on yesterday night at his residence and deliberated on the winter session date.

The Parliament’s Winter Session usually starts in November but this year will be the second year in a row, when the Winter Session will commence from December 11.

The Winter Session this year has already been delayed due to the schedule of Assembly Election in five states.
